It’s an opportunity for our team to understand your goals and to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Step 3 – Your Custom Treatment Plan

This is the fun part! Your physician will create a custom treatment plan to help you achieve your desired results 💚

Preparation & Treatment Day

Some things to keep in mind leading up to your appointment day!

Step 1 – Few Days Prior to Treatment

Avoid using any anti inflammatory medication ex. Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, etc. and consuming alcohol as these can increasing bleeding.

Step 2 – During Treatment

Ideally arrive without makeup on. There is an option in clinic to remove your makeup.

The doctor will clean and prep the skin gently for treatment with antiseptic agents. Your safety and positive experience is our #1 priority!

They will then apply a powerful numbing agent to make your treatment comfortable, easy and virtually painless.

Post Treatment

Following your appointment you will have access to 24 hr support

Post treatment recovery

Most people can return to their usual activities right after the procedure, although it’s typical to have some swelling for a few hours or days. Bruising is rare but possible. It’s recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and exposure to extreme heat, such as saunas or sunbathing, for the first 24 to 48 hours.

Immediately following treatment

We offer ice packs and arnica cream to reduce swelling and the risk of bruising.

Follow up appointment

Welcome to book a 1 – 2 weeks follow up appointment for a complimentary touch up.

  • The duration of lip fillers depends on the type of filler used and individual factors like hydration, but typically, they last between 6 to 12 months.
  • After this period, the fillers naturally break down and are absorbed by the body.

  • The discomfort level can vary from person to person. Many lip fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to minimize pain.
  • We use numbing creams, Dr. Kumar has a reputation of being virtually painless, patients have rated the pain as 0-2/10.
  • Dr. Kumar uses a number of techniques to reduce the risk of bruising. Additionally we offer arnica and an icepack to take home.
