Botox treatment on female lips

Let’s talk about Botox® baby!

To inject or not inject? That is the question…or is it?

It seems these days everyone is getting something “done”. Botox Cosmetic, injectable fillers, peels, microderm, lasers and light..the list goes on and to be honest I love them all. But let’s talk about Botox. As mainstream as it’s become with every celebrity openly touting it’s magic and Botox parties abounding there are still a lot of questions and myths about the treatment.

So let’s get to the facts.

Myth#1 – Using Botox Cosmetic will result in the loss of facial expression

Fact – It is intended to enhance the way you look, not change it. When administered by an experienced physician, the treatment is designed to produce a more natural and relaxed appearance.

Myth#2 – There are creams better than Botox Cosmetic

Fact – There is no scientific evidence that supports that creams work better. Creams work well on the surface of the skin. Botox Cosmetic works below the surface of the skin to relax the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles to form.

Myth#3 – Botox Cosmetic is expensive.

Fact – The cost of Botox Cosmetic varies depending on on the amount of product needed to achieve optimal results and the areas of the face that are being treated. As an example, Botox Cosmetic typically ranges from $150 to $200 to treat the the frown line between the eyebrows. Since the effects of the treatment can last up to 4 months the cost is about $1.25 per day.

So there you have it!! I myself am a lover of Botox Cosmetic treatments. I am a very expressive person and have not lost any of that. No one knows that I have anything “done” they just say “you look great!!”. That’s good enough for me.

  • Thank you! I had? never heard of using Honey, but I will now try that out! Agreed, lots of water, fruits/veggies and shea betutr are wonderful. I haven’t been able to get rid of the deep wrinkles yet but I’m early on with the shea betutr. You look too young to be worrying about wrinkles though. I am guessing you are maybe 32 years old? Or are you actually 45 and an awesome success story? Thanks so much for the tips!
