What Laser Treatments Do We Offer?

Here are the laser treatments we do at CuR Laser and Skin:

Broadband Light Laser Treatments (BBL)

Broadband Light Treatments, or BBL for short, are FDA-approved procedures intended to treat various skin conditions and irregularities.

One of our newest Broadband Light Treatment is the Sciton BBL. Technically, this is a machine that uses Intense Pulse Light, or IPL, for short.

The particular treatment we offer is the Forever Young BBL. How does it work? Pulsed infrared and visible light energy heat up the upper layers of your skin. This heat gets absorbed by your skin and targets the irregularities. It eliminates the melanin that is caused by sun damage. The heat also helps produce new collagen – critical in the reformation and rejuvenation of new skin.

Fraxel is a laser skin resurfacing treatment the\at can help reverse the signs of aging by treating various skin conditions and imperfections.

By definition, Fraxel is a fractional laser and it only treats a fraction of an area of your skin. How does it work? Microscopic pixels known as microthermal treatment zones penetrate your skin and treat pigmented cells. This affects the surrounding tissue.

A significant breakthrough in laser therapy and laser technology, Fraxel is widely considered the best “gentle” laser treatment available to treat skin conditions, scars, sun damage and wrinkles.

It was developed as a solution to improve tone, texture and pigmentation of skin and the evidence continues to mount in support of how safe and effective Fraxel is.
